Muse – Absolution

Muse is back after about a year since Hullabaloo. Ever since Showbiz Muse have pretty much been touring and recording. These guys are hard workers.
The album starts off with an intro of what sounds like soldiers marching. Then you get throw right in. “Apocalypse Please” is the first track and with the hook here being this is the end of the world I just got a feeling we are onto something here. Next is the first single off the album “Time Is Running Out”. It’s a brilliant little tune, which has molds of older Muse. Next up this the song “Sing For Absolution” is one of the slower tracks of the album but its still a killer. Now we have Stockholm Syndrome, which was released as a download only sing which get us all ready for this album. This track is just simply amazing one of the heaviest tracks of the album and has muse doing what the do best being fucking loud. Should have been released commercially. Falling Away With you and a short interlude follow to keep us going. Next we have another big track Hysteria already named the next single. Reminds me musically of Origin Of Symmetry but still another brilliant track. Butterflies And Hurricanes is in my opinion the best song of this album. It’s the longest one of the album and musically it is just awesome. The vocals on this track are breathtaking making this song something that should not be missed. We can go on and on about how good this album really is. This album is where Muse we evolve into something much bigger than they are already. They have achieved something here we have all been waiting for. This is the sound of Muse conquering the world.
