Arab Strap – There Is No Ending
Arab Strap has recently called it a day. But they are releasing a best of to help ease our pains. In support of the release they are releasing “There Is No Ending:” which, was the finale track on last years “Last Romance” LP. Personally, there is no better way to send the band off, as this is one of their finest moments. The horns, mixed with a strong confident vocal from Malcolm and the lyrics are simply breathtaking. “I love to sulf and shout and squeal/But please don’t doubt the way I feel” that lyric just tugs at you ever time it is sung with such conviction. It is also said when a band that you admire and enjoy calls it a day. Hopefully, this will not be the last we hear from the boys. Now, where is that new Malcolm solo album.
