The Horrors – She Is The New Thing

My first listen to this band and the NME’s review of this single in this week’s edition did nothing to encourage me. However I will say that this group do have a different sound, definitely Goth-rock, with spooky keyboards, chilling guitar and thoroughly evil vocals from lead singer Faris Rotter.3.21 minutes of it to be precise. Contrived is a word that sprang to mind when listening to this one, but it will definitely appeal to the Goth community and has its place in the new music scene of the early 21st century.
