Tapes N Tapes – Hang Them All
Tapes ‘n Tapes was once darlings of the indie world with their debut album “The Loon” and now they are back and with a little less pressure. They return after a few years and after some of the dust settles with a really strong new single. “Hang Them All” seems to have a continuation from the sound on “The Loon” so there is not much different. The song starts off with a really cool bass/guitars criss crossing to make a really a cool sound. The vocals are very distinctive and the song overall is really catchy. The track is a instant foot stomper as the hook is a colossal beast. The song in a live setting will have a great potential to blow some people away.
After, “The Loon” I was a little hard on them and I still think there is a lot of Arcade Fire combined with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah here but the song is infectious and I fell victim.
