Sky Larkin – Fossil, I

Sky Larkin like everyone other band to come from Leeds over the last few years got their start releasing music on the Dance To The Radio label. There first two singles “One Of Two” and “Molten” showed a lot of promise out of the young three piece. They recently signed with the good folks at Witchita Records and finally an album will be due next year. Now, I am reviewing “Fossil, I” off a video stream so I will not be to hard on the sound quality of the recording because naturally it sounds better than what I am dealing with. But, when I heard the new single I had to get something out there. The young band have their most polished single to date. The track runs at a nice crisp 2 minutes and forty-five seconds. Katie Harkin has a voice that would sound perfect on any radio station. She sounds so familiar and friendly. This single shows that Sky will be one of the bands to look out for next year.
