Those Dancing Days are Sweden’s latest pop export. The band is young, vibrant and fresh out of school as well. The band has already released a handful of singles that have caused many people out there to get a little excited for this release. Their debut single “Those Dancing Days” makes a welcomed return here as well as “Run, Run” “Hitten” and the latest “Home Sweet Home.” If you have enjoyed those singles the record will not disappoint. It is a classic pop record that from start to finish you just can’t help but feeling good during the listen.

The weather has been unseasonable warm here for October and this has been the perfect treat for these hot days. The band does not use any special tricks and don’t reinvent the wheel. “Falling In Fall” starts the record off with almost a nu wave like intro until Linnea Jönsson’s vocal kicks in. It seems like the vocals are little bit pushed back in the mix but the music is a lively mix with a lot of heavy organ sounds throughout. “Run Run” was one of the bands early singles and easily the most appealing of the album. It is the perfect song for that beautiful day that you just want to be outside for. It has slowly become my cheer up track because I just instant feel so happy whenever I hear this track.

Next, up we travel through “Hitten.” The track is the pseudo ballad on the record as it slows things down and adds a depressing keyboard line. It really shows off that Linnea has a lot of potential as a vocalist as shes got a big voice. “Actionman” is a cute song it is a remind that these ladies are still very young. “Home Sweet Home” is the bands latest single release and its another one of those tracks that is so instantly catchy that it will stay in your head all day long.

“In Our Space Hero Suits” is an excellent debut album from the ladies from Sweden. The record runs very fast and crisp and there are a number of songs that you will find to be very irresistible and you will find going back repeatedly. The record is bright, charming and will hopefully bring the girls some success and more tunes to come.
