Oasis - I’m Outta Time

“I’m Outta Time” is the second single lifted off of Oasis’ Dig Out Your Soul. The track is also one of the three on the album written by Liam Gallagher. The song is a rather the strikingly beautiful ballad that you almost don’t see coming on the record. Liam has grown quite a bit as a song writer since his first penned track “Songbird” was released. The charm of any Liam song is its simplicity and “I’m Outta Time” is no different with a very basic lyric and melody. Yet, the track still feels very comfortable. Looking at the lyrics you can see what I mean “If I’m to fall Would you be there to applaud Or would you hide behind the law Because If I am to go In my heart you grow And that’s where you belong.” Oasis will forever be a band that will never get much critical acclaim anymore but they still know how to write a song that excited the people.
