bornradical 150x150 Friendly Foes Born RadicalNow, this is a band. They’re from Detroit and well worth hearing. There are three members and thirteen songs on this first album, released in August 2008.

They are dynamic, rocky, keep their music simple and direct, and mean business.Energetic and lively, this album engaged me straight away. Their sound is excellent for playing in the car whilst driving along the freeway with the roof open. I liked Couch surfing, Get Your Shit Together (bit Kaiser Chiefs), My Body Is A Strange Place To Live (nice track, upbeat, with some fine guitar work and good harmonies,a bit like The Archies to listen to).

My favorite track is Wildonceinawhile, it has a recklessness to it,and I also liked Liltiger.

I can’t really fault any of the songs on this album, it is a piece of perfect sound.

Highly recommended.
