Dead Kids – Into The Fire

This is a dreadful time of year when it comes to new music hardly anything is released besides Christmas tracks and the new Snow Patrol singles. Dead Kids are a new London band who have been burning up the British Papers lately. “Into The Fire” isn’t a track that will catch you at first but the song does have a lot of charming and redeeming qualities to it. The track feels a lot like a young Rancid. It is a love song like a punk band can only credit. It is rough, jangly and passionate. The track goes along at a crisp two minutes that works perfectly because it just feels right. I have yet to hear anything else by the band but this track has peaked my interest enough.
