Snow Patrol – Crack The Shutters

Snow Patrol are back with the second single off their latest album “A Hundred Million Suns.” The band have also seen their track “Run” get covered and released by Leona Lewis achieve number 1 status. “Crack The Shutters” is not bad song it just feels like it has all been done before. The chord progression, the melody it just feels all to familiar. With “Run” hitting the charts again it reminds us all of a time when Snow Patrol still had that charm an youthful idealism in their writing. This one will get plenty of play but this is something to bypass. January can’t come soon enough as we really need some fresh material.
