Faunts – Feel.Love.Thinking.Of

faunts0 150x150 Faunts Feel.Love.Thinking.OfFaunts come at you like the Love Child of Smooth Jazz and Mae. With Vocals sounding like Coldplay and seldom somber instrumentals giving you a bit of “The Killers” feel, this band can be the morning walk around the park or the late drive at home. It’s just that good. Don’t get me wrong however, I wasn’t completely in love when I heard the first song “Feel Love Thinking Of,” I honestly thought, ‘Wow these guys have all the excitement of a dying puppy.’

And certain songs do while others are more upbeat and catchy.

If I had to single out a song on this album it would be “I think I’ll start a Fire.” It has all the appeal of a “.hack” video game series Background Music Track, all the instruments you need for a nice relaxing melody, and easy vocals to sing along with. Faunts are a sleeper hit waiting to happen!

I do wish they had longer tracks.
