Maximo Park To Officially Open Glastonbury 2009!

Maximo Park will be opening Glastonbury this year in the first for festival. On Thursday 25th June at 4pm, the band will take to the stage of the brand new William’s Green area (named after Michael Eavis’ grandfather) to kick off this year’s festivities a day early. While only 1,500 people will be able to squeeze into the tent itself, an estimated 50 thousand people on site at that time will be able to see and hear the set on huge screens and speakers outside!
