We Were Promised Jetpacks – Quiet Little Voices
If someone came up to you and handed you a record by a band called “We Were Promised Jetpacks” you would most likely assume it was a bad emo band and not a brilliant new band from Glasgow right? After, my assumptions on the name made me look like a fool I was able to chat with the boys about their record last month and they seem like great people. “Quiet Little Voices” is lifted off the bands debut album “These Four Walls.” People should take notice as this is a type of song that will get people excited and move some records. The song features a blistering chorus, crashing drums and a tune that will have you singing it for days. There is some emotion and a little power to it that just makes you get out your copy of Rock Band and hope nobody sees you. The charming Scottish accent that can be heard seeping through the mix never hurt anyone.
