Inara George covers disco classic “I Feel Love” with Dengue Fever

Dengue Fever announced today the July 14 digital-only release of a four-track EP entitled Radio Dance Floor featuring a collaboration with the Bird and the Bee’s Inara George on lead vocals on the disco classic “I Feel Love” made famous by Donna Summer.

Intelligence announce US Dates

Intelligence will head out in August on an extensive tour that will include U.S. and Canadian dates in support of the band’s fourth and most recent album Fake Surfers (viaIn the Red). Spoonfed’s Gig Of The Month: Internet Forever + Crocodiles + Wolf Paradise July 12th

Similar in form and style to No Age, Wavves and all that, Crocodiles differ from their LA compatriots by the sheer amount of dark, psychedelic weirdness they manage to cram into their lo-fi noise pop. Taking the logic that No Age are like the Decendents played through a telephone, then these guys are kind of like Jesus and Mary Chain sound-tracking a really dark acid trip.

Making their first UK appearance at the Old Blue Last on the back of their new LP ‘Summer of Hate’, the line-up also includes thrashy noise act Internet Forever and the first ever World exclusive gig of Wolf Paradise. It doesn’t get better than this really…

Taking Back Sunday – New Again

Taking Back Sunday are back with their fourth studio release, “New Again.” TBS frontman Adam Lazzara has said that the album name comes from the band’s constant reinvention and changing members, including new guitarist Matthew Fazzi. The title fits the album’s sound perfectly, as it is more focused than Taking Back Sunday’s previous albums and showcases their growth as a band. The band’s gradual progression on each album throughout the past seven years is clear and “New Again” is a continuation of that evolution. This album is heavier and less (for lack of a better word) whiny than the first three albums. However, Taking Back Sunday fans will surely not be disappointed, as the lyrics are more personal than ever and each song still maintains the band’s signature catchy melodies. The album’s first single “Sink Into Me” is sure to have you singing along after the first listen. Don’t be surprised to find “New Again” blasting in your car all summer long.
