arctic monkeys crying lightning 150x150 Arctic Monkeys   Crying LightningArctic Monkeys return with their first new material in 2 years. “Crying Lightning” is the first single from the upcoming third album “Humbug.” The intriguing element of the band’s new album is the fact that it was co-produced by both Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age and James Ford. “Crying Lightning” is surprisingly rather enjoyable. You can hear the influence of Josh Homme in the mix. The guitars sound a bit meatier and the drumming has that big desert sound to it. The band’s last album “Favourite Worst Nightmare” did very little for me. But, the maturing Monkeys may have something here with the new material.
