Nick Cave – The Death Of Bunny Munro
“The Death of Bunny Munro” by Nick Cave was a funny, lewd, and obnoxious novel, that I throughly enjoyed. Bunny Munro is a horrible and vulgar salesman who cheats on his wife and disrespects her so horrendously that she is driven to commit suicide. After his wife’s suicide Bunny decides the best thing to do is to take his car and his son, Bunny Jr., on the road. They travel from town to town while Bunny tries to do his job and sell beauty products to these ladies. His son meanwhile who is very bright and adores his father can not quite comprehend that his mother is dead and that he will never see her again. It does not help that Bunny can not offer his son a stable home, and that he is becoming more and more disturbed every day. I will not give away the ending but really it’s not that hard to figure out what happens.
