Antony and the Johnsons offer up preorder details for the new album
Antony and the Johnsons will be offering an instant digital download of their forthcoming album “The Crying Light” and a bonus track, “My Lord, My Love”, for fans who pre-order the album from the band’s website starting today.
“The Crying Light” is the band’s follow up to the Mercury prize winning “I Am a Bird Now”. The album will be released in the UK and Europe on January 19 through Rough Trade and on January 20 in America through Secretly Canadian with a world tour following the release. The American leg of the tour goes through the end of February, including stops at the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville as well as the historic Vic Theatre in Chicago and the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Antony and the Johnsons have revealed the cover art for the forthcoming full-length, The Crying Light. The Crying Light will be released on Secretly Canadian on January 20th followed by a series of US and European tour dates (dates below). The tour, which goes through the end of February, includes stops at the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville as well as the historic Vic Theatre in Chicago and the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
