Polly Scattergood – Nitrogen Pink
Polly is a young singer from Essex who has just release her latest single “Nitrogen Pink.” Polly has released a few other songs over the last few years but I sadly missed them. “Nitrogen Pink” is really quite an overwhelming gem. Polly has a big voice that just fills out the track. The track starts off rather slow and Polly sounds rather whiskery. The at about a minute and a half in this weird effect comes in and the song really starts to develop into itself. By, the end the track turns into a sweeping epic that you would not of expect in the early part of the song. Polly has a wonderful voice and the music and all the effects behind her give her sound a very distinct and rare touch. This young lady will be poised for a big things next year as the quality of the songwriting, voice and production on this track are just to good to miss out on.
